About Bonnyview Dog Park

By limiting hirers to PROFESSIONAL dog walkers we feel we can provide a more stable and peaceful environment with less distractions and interruptions found on sites open to the general public.

There are three fields of roughly equal size which are large enough for thorough exercise but not too large that the dogs cannot be easily seen from a distance to maintain cleanliness.

All three fields have six feet high weld mesh fencing with dog hurdles and tyres to make the visit more interesting and challenging.

Access for each field is via a double entry “airlock” arrangement where dogs enter a holding area with their carers in order to settle and gain more control whilst adding to security.

Vehicles can drive right up to the entry gates in fields 1 and 2 whilst field 3 is accessed via a relatively short walkway.

Fields are hired exclusively for one hour with a maximum of 7 dogs.

All the fields have shelters for walkers and dogs when the weather becomes uncomfortable.

Each field has drinking water and lighting for winter afternoons when the light drops early.

Over recent years public parks have become more and more challenging for professional dog walkers. There are more regulations than ever before and parks have become much busier as people appreciate open spaces after the restrictions of the pandemic.

Using a convenient, centrally located, secure dog park is a sensible way to progress with your dog walking business.

Opening Hours

The park will operate on weekdays from 9am to 3pm*
*the last walker out by 4pm.

Saturdays 9am to 12 noon with the last walker out by 1pm.

Dog Park Rules

By booking the dog park you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions on this page:

  1. All professional dog walkers must have the correct and current insurance for dog walking.
  1. Access is by a coded smart lock at the entry gate to the site and the code is only valid for the duration of your visit.
  2. On entry to the site IT IS ESSENTIAL that the gate is re locked!
  3. The hirer must provide their own poo bags and deposit them in the bins provided once used.
  4. Dog poo must be lifted from the field and put into bags.
  5. Constant excessive dog barking is not allowed and every effort has to be made to reduce barking where at all possible to greatly lessen the impact on neighbouring households.
  6. Do not enter the field if there are dogs present and wait till the field is clear.(call 07977768829 if the problem persists)
  7. Any damages have to be reported promptly and dogs are not allowed to dig holes in the fields or in shelter areas.
  8. All toys and litter have to be removed by the end of the session as these items can be a hazard to other dogs.
  9. All vehicles entering the site will be at owners’ risk and Bonnyview Dog Park will not be responsible for any accidents or damages.
  10. Bonnyview Dog Park will not be responsible for damage, injury, misadventure, or damage sustained to persons’ property or animals whilst using the dog park or on the property.Owners and dog walkers of the dogs use the park and associated areas at their own risk.
  11. Children are not allowed in the dog park.
  12. Dogs must have up to date vaccination and worm treatments and walkers should treat the site as though it was a public site with all the associated risks.
  13. Dog walkers must exercise extreme care when entering or leaving the fields to ensure dogs do not break loose. The “airlock” holding areas should be used and both gates must be closed firmly on entry and departure.
  14. Users should be aware and respectful of any wildlife in the park especially wild deer.
  15. Users should inspect the allocated field for fence integrity and height before letting dogs off lead.
  16. Dogs outwith the main dog park area must be kept secure on a lead at all times
  17. Bookings are not transferable.
  18. If you are late for your booked field phone 07977768829 as soon as possible so we can try and help with rescheduling.
  19. Dog walkers must not leave dogs unattended in the dog park at any time.
  20. Toilet facilities are not available at the park.
  21. No smoking or BBQs allowed due to fire risk in dry weather.
